Hello everyone,

Unfortunately I will again have to cancel class for tomorrow (Wednesday, Feb 29th) as I am still sick. Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause. I am hoping to be back by Friday.

Fortunately we will not be missing a lot of material this week - the Functional perspective that I am due to lecture on is not part of the textbook, but rather an optional addition to the course. I will simply present a very short version of it on Friday. It will complement the Visual Pleasure and Media Effects perspectives that we will pick up on starting next week.

The bad news is that you will not be able to get your proposals back until next class, although all of them are now marked (and have been for a while). For those of you who would really like to get started on your final project, or simply know your mark ASAP, please email me and I can send your proposal mark with comments by email. I have not finished marking the midterms yet, but I will try to get them back to you by Friday as well.

For any other concerns or questions you might have about the course, please email me - I will try to respond quickly over the next two days.
